While the bar may look welcoming at first glance , what I found behind its doors was appalling and beyond comprehension .

The ground was covered in grime , and a pungent odor of stale beer and uncleaned toilets suffused the entire venue . With a smell of a mixture of excrement , putrefaction and sour vomit . The bar area , which should be the main attraction of any pub, was overflowing with soiled cups and litter that looked like it had been ignored for a long time .
